Optical Hardwire To Mobo...

I was previously using a monster cable box with all connection on it.
boring of having this box, I decided to hardwire audio/video and optical to my xbox mobo (v1.4 focus)

Before, I had no problem with Dolby Digital...but now that its hardwire, I can only get Pro Logic... My receiver is set to "automatic mode" and DD is enable in MS dash.
The capacitor is correctly solder on the output also.
anyone know whats the problem?
