480p Problems On Pal Xbox

I have a PAL XBOX that was switched to NTSC through enigmah. With most games 480P is used by default. However with some other games (NBA LIVE 2005, NHL 2005) I'm only getting 480i. I tried ProgPatcher but it won't work on the default.XBE files of these games. Another issue I had, ESPN NHL 2k5 and Soul Calibur 2 won't start up unless I disable 480P on the MS dashboard while in NTSC (or switch to pal). They work fine ehn I use the defalut AV kit instead of the HD.
WHAT GIVES??
