Intec Hd Av Pack Vs Ms Hd Av Pack

I've heard good and bad things about the monster set.  Personally I think paying that much for cables is insane anyway.  I have the MS one and it is great, but  you could upgrade from the cheap component cables they bundle with it.  Maybe a combination of the MS Hi def pack, and a 3' Monster component cable.

I just bought the M$ HD pack today... haven't opened it.

You say it's cheap? Should I take it back and invest my money elsewhere?

Buy the M$ HDPack.  Monster cables are $100 (CDN) + an additional $60 IF you want the optical cable.  I doubt you would really notice a difference between the two.

Strange, the MS one I have is a box with female connectors on it that you plug your own component and audio cables into or use the ones that came with it.  You must have gotten a different version.

MS abandoned their old breakout-box style Hi-Def A/V Pack, and are now using the integrated cable one.  See this thread for details.

I prefer the new version, and I have the older style available for sale if someone needs one for their particular setup.

Typical MS anything to save a buck strategy.

By the way, I'm in canada.  Check your local EB Games used section.  They might have one there.
