Uh, that's weird.  Do you also have the stereo L/R RCA analog sound cables connected?

I think you have to set on your Home Theater to Digital In.

try and borrow a friends hdd or advanced av pack and their optical/coax digital cable...and as someone said before ensure that ONLY the optical cable and the video cable are connected...leave those red/white plus empty.

Is there maybe some problem with EvolutionX that when i run a game from the HDD through Evox the xbox cant decode DD sound?

Hi t0yalty

Did you ever get to the bottom of this problem?  I too have the same Home Cinema system as yourself and after having just purchsed the Advanced AV scart lead and digital cable am getting the same results.  No sound through any games, either Dolby Digital or not.  DVD's are fine.  Music plays fine....  Turn Dolby Digital off and all works as normal.

Any suggestions?  Meanwhile, I'll keep searching through the forums!
