My xbox (v1.0, x3 w/1959) seems to only output a 480i signal.
It's my understanding that if I
1) have the MS HD pack installed (I do), and
2) have 480p enabled in the dash (I do)
games that support 480p will use it automatically. This doesn't seem to be working, however. Avalaunch, which I thought would use 480p if it was available, isn't using 480p either.
My TV (a Toshiba) has two sets of component inputs... my htpc is in one, my xbox the other. My htpc outputs a 480p signal and it looks pixel perfect. However, there's something screwy with my tv and 480i... see this picture:

Any idea why things aren't working in 480p for me?
