Vga - Green Even With Ing 5001 Bios

With some monitor the are alwas a green picture even if you use a VGA bios.

The prob is the monitor

I have the same prob with a Compaq S710 monitor and i cannot relosv it.

But with an other monitor(Mitsubishi Diamontron) who have the green picture, I resolved it. I eanble(or deasable) an option in that monitor. (I can remeber what exactly)

Your monitor needs to accept sync on green, or else you'll also have to include a sync seperator in your hd pack.

mine monitor does not SOG, but i got my hand on a LM1881N chip from a local electronic shop.

I tried my setup on both sog and not so sog monitors.  i got the same outcome.  don't know what is going on.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i was led to believe that the IND 5001 VGA bios was made for use with a focus chip.  Seeing as you have a 1.0, thus being a conexant, you should use the pixel8 or whatever that other one is . . . .

No,you are wrong Zindon(despite the link).I have been using the ind-5001 vga  bios for several months on a focus box and it works just as well as a conexant box.
