I just got my xbox and a sony miniDV cam, and I tried making a dvd from a mini dv tape, encoded at CBR 7000 with Canapus Procoder, and while on PC the resulting DVD is playing nicely, on the xbox with "dvd region X" the motion parts in the dvd, are played jerky ...
Do you guys have any tips of encoding a dvd movie that will play fine on the xbox ? Should I use a lower/higher bitrate or VBR instead of CBR ? I think I selected the correct field options, so the only problem I think is the bitrate beeing to low or maybe to high for the 733mhz xbox processor to handle ?
Since my xbox cannot read dvd-/+rw, only dvd+r/dvd-r(and all cd-r, weird I know)
I don't want to make hundred of tests and ruin a lot of dvd-r, so if you have some tips would be great
