Playing Ntsc Games On Pal Tv

what people do is backup their games at hdd, then use some patch tools for the xbe files to turn them from PAL to NTSC and vice versa. Where those tools are, i do not know, on the fly i think is impossible...

hi
thanx 4 the reply.

i searched quite a lot of forum topics on this and other sites but couldn't find solution to this problem

i know i can switch video mode in enigmah video switcher but the problem is that my tv doesnt support ntsc, only pal.

i cant seem to find a program to patch ntsc game to pal so it will work on my PAL TV.  i am 99.99% sure its possible.

Any suggestions?
Cheers in advance

If it were as simple as patching PAL games to run in NTSC, then we would have worldwide simulatanious release dates for games.
I'm afraid its time for a new TV.

is your tv DEFINITELY 100% pal only ? i haven't seen a tv that won't accept a 60hz signal in a long long time now. my housemates thought their tv was pal only, but it was just due to rubbish cables and wrong settings. you've tried a fully wired rgb scart (rather than the POS composite cable you get in the box) i'm guessing? don't wanna sound patronising as i have no idea about you or your set, but y'never know.

When abouts did you get your tv?

I got mine in 1998 WS and it works with 60hz fine

Remember it may accept 60 hz and one of two things

if it does 100% it will be in colour

otherwise it may just be in b&w

Have you tested it?
