I have a samsung widescreen hdtv tv. Here's My TV  I have a modded xbox, TSOP flashed running Unleash X.  I have changed the setting in M$ Dash to widescreen and enabled 480p and 1080i. Not 720 because my tv does not support it.  I have also enabled 480p and 1080 in the settings of my dashboard.  I have the M$ HD AV Pack.  The dashboard loads into 1080i and looks amazing (compared to before). When I play a game however the video doesn't improve at all from before I had an HD TV. Main game in question is Halo 2 (playing from Hard drive).  My friend also has an hdtv widescreen (his is phillips) with  an unmodded xbox and plays halo 2 from the cd, same AV pack as me. His halo2 plays in 480p and looks 1000 times better than mine.  Could I have a bad AV pack? Im still waiting for his lazy ass to bring his xbox and AV pack over to try it on my tv.  Anyways, Any help would be appreciated.  Im guessing bad AV pack but is it possible for it to not work in 480p but somehow still work in 1080i with the dashboard.
