My Ms Dash And Xbmc Won't Work, Please Help!

My XBox is modded with a TSOP flash and an EVOX dash.  I can't get my MS dash to open or use the XBMC.  When I try to open one of them it resets to the MS dash.  It's a real drag because I can't use Dolby Digital.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
