No Video (power Surge Possible Problem?)

A little update... I went out and bought one of those s-video adapters for the xbox, s-video works fine, but regular rca still not working.

I'm sure you tried a different set of RCA cables. I shouldn't even ask that. Sorry, I wasn't trying to insult you.

sounds like the surge may have taken out the composite portion of the video encoder.

You are lucky man, I had a "power surge" on my PS2 traveled out the video port through my TV and fried all the ports on the TV: RF, RCA, and maybe S-VIDEO. Anyways if S-VIDEO still works I suggest getting an S-VIDEO to Composite video adapter...I think I even have one laying around in my house.

well semi-lucky.  Although tthe svideo gives me video , it is very poor quality, and really dull looking.  Can't really play games with it sad.gif
