Yes you can, but if you leave it there you may not be able to pay some games like Burnout 2 and Toca 2. The only way I know how to the eeprom.bin into a dead box is by installing a SmartXX chip. See the forum. In doing so you will NOT be able to lock your HDD. I say that because that has happened to me before. Make sure your HDD is unlocked first. I am no expert so look in the TSOP forum as well. Also try the Utilities forum.
