ok this isn't another topic about ntsc dvds, but dvds in general.

occasionally, ok not occasionally, frequently, when watching any dvd using the ms dash or thc or xbmc etc, i get white flickers appearing in the picture. it is strange because when i rewind the dvd, the flicker is still there, like it is embedded into the picture. this means it isn't a problem with the connection between my xbox and tv. could it possible be dirt on the dvd? or is my thompson drive buggered?

ok sorry.

well i cant really explain my problem anymore, white flickers appear and they are still there when i rewind it, this never used to happen and it occurs, as i can see, on all dvds i have.

sorry but i don't have the ability to take pictures. also there isn't any more info i can give you. just white flickers that are still there when i rewind, there really isn't anything else to tell. i am getting an rgb cable in a few days, i'll see if the problem is still there, which it probably will being as the flickers aren't appearing on any games or applications. movies only.
