Neoya, the people who make the x2vga, are great people to work with. Just send them an email letting them know what's up, and they will fix it for free; and probably even pay for shipping both ways (that's what they did with my friends x2vga+ that broke; power button wouldn't stay in). All they want is the item number off your x2vga; it's in the email they sent you when you bought it.

i know whats exactly wrong with it,and have helped many who had the same prob with the x2vga+.

x2vga+ on off switch is very buggy.actually there are 2 tiny switches under the main plastic knob(on off switch)when the switch is pressed both of them has to be pressed.when its in off state both those switched has to be off.however in some times when u press the on off switch,one of the 2 switched may loose the contact with the plastic knob and ,will not be pressed.like in the diagram below

FAULTY STATE

yup this involves breaking ur warranty

but its easy to do .just take it apart.depress the 2 switches and reassemble ur x2vga+

and all the peepps who read this can pls email bout this problem,this can be easily solved if they carve a rectangular shaped whole in the on \off knob to fit the 2 switches.

Jo77, I don't believe the original x2vga had focus chip (1.4/1.5) support. Just exchange for an x2vga+. This is why it wasn't working, I believe.
