Xdk Dash In Hdtv?

Hey, I just got a new HDTV with 480p and 1080i signals. I'm wondering if anyone knows how (or if) there is anyway to activate HDTV in the XDK Launcher. It's really annoying to have to navigate to my progs, files, and games with a black screen. The new Retail dashboard has a button combo to activate 480p. So if anyone knows please let me and others know. Thanks.
