Custom Soundtracks Without Using Xse
« on: July 14, 2004, 10:10:00 PM »

Yes, I bumped up and posted in that other post about custom soundtracks.

After numerous searches, I can't seem to find anything.

XSE is buggy and destroyed a folder on my xbox soundtracks as well as destroying things when u upload more then 100 songs or so to a folder.

If you create a folder in your E/TDATA/fffe0000/music/  it won't appear in your games in the soundtrack menu.

How does one get around this?

Thanks.

edit:  I can't delete this thread, so I'll just add what I found out.

As buggy as XSE is, it's the only way to transfer your music over so that it can be read within a game.  Just FTP'ing over into the right directory won't work.

Now, as for XSE, well, it's just really buggy and causes me great pain.
