The best way is to connect via COMPONENT (3 cables)
The second best way is via S-VIDEO (cable like ps/2 mouse)
The worst way is to connect via Composite (1x yellow RCA plug)

succes!!

For a list of which games support which HDTV modes, check here:

AFAIK, scart is a European connection method. N.America doesn't use scart cables.

Also, I don't think that Europe has HDTV so they cannot get the 720p or 1080i resolutions that HDTV in N.America can get (PAL Xboxes don't even have the option in the M$ dashboard). BTW, there aren't too many games that run in 720p or higher. Just a few.

CRT offers the best quality picture-wise but is limited in it's size.

I live in the Netherlands (Europe) and today I connect my Xbox with the projector with COMPONENT cables. I have a PAL xbox with an SMARTXX chip in it. The quality is PERFECT!!! I can recommend you this way to connect!!
