Ok, so several of you have asked since I spilled the beans about my HDTV purchase for some pics.  I took several but only these 4 really showed anything well.  These are all Amped2 (yes I tried other games, but the pics didn't come out good.)  These compare 720p and 480p resolutions.

I'm assuming when you guys asked for pictures, this is what you meant right?

Hopefully it's obvious I tried to get the angles the same between each picture.  BTW the native resolution of my TV is closer to 720p so even on the couple games I have that do 1080i (Enter the Matrix and Dragon's Lair 3D) there wasn't much visible difference between 1080i and 720p.

Man! and i recently purchased a 53" Panny HDTV that does 1080i not 720p.

awesome pics man.  I fear once I play a game in 720p I will hate playing any other games with a lower resolution.  Maybe all games for the xenon will be 720 or 1080.

Very cool.  I was actually thinking about pics of your home theater, television, and components.

Nice illustration of 720p vs. 480p though.
