This game is a total blast for multiplayer:

But unfortunately it is interlaced only. Would someone out there know the hex modification to enable progressive scan for it (if it is even possible)?

Also, I have searched all over for some kind of information on how these hex changes are identified/created in the first place. Such a tutorial would be very enlightening.
