Vga Brightness/contrast Control

Hi,

I'm using the X2VGA adapter for VGA from my Xbox.  The picture is sharp but very dark (even with my monitor at 100% contrast/brightness while playing Halo in 480p).

Any ideas on how i could adjust the bightness?
