High-def Av Pack + New Sony Wega Tv

I have the same exact setup as you and mine does the same thing.
Our TVs do not support any HDTV settings. That is my guess as to why the screen goes bizerk.

1) 480i and 480p are not the same thing. the i means interlaced while the p means progressive scan. It is better because it creates a picture signal with double the scan lines of a conventional interlaced pictured (480i) to create a noticeably sharper image.

Which model Wega do you have?

My LCD Projection Wega works fine in 480p, 720p, and 1080i modes.

Is yours specifically labeled HD?

It's likely that after enabling the higher res, Evolution-X tried to take advantage of them.

Be sure to first change it's video settings to "NTSC" and "DEFAULT" before turning on the hi res modes.

I have a green Xbox (/w crimson skies & pgr2).

I have a TV that supports the 16:9 enhancement.

However...it only works iwth the black xbox (that someone brought over)

anyone have a green xbox and has the same problem?

We have the EXACT same dash board settings.
