hello,

i have  legal copies of half life 2, cold fear and project snowblind... unfortunately they all turn out green probably because they are set to interlace as they are pal games...

anyway to change this to 480p instead or me having to grab the ntsc versions of the game? [and yes my other games do work with the vga hack apart from these 3]...

the one in the above post looks about right too, its a short version of setvid. nop and send a 0 (6a 00).

excuse the ignorance...but wat exactly do u use the hex list for? hex editing the game so itll play in a higher depth of hd?

In most cases the edit will enable progressive scan for games which normally don't support it.

This one works for me! Thks! Using the one in the above post works but presents overscan and cut the game HUD.
I have the same problem with Winning Eleven 9. In 480i works right but in 480P I have overscan problem and the image looks a litle zoomed.
Maybe there´s a way to fix this in WE9 like in Winback 2? I play in 16:9. Sorry my bad English.

Was that a find and replace? because it did not work for me when I hex edit the default.xbe with a find and replace:
