MS Progressive Dashboard Update?

How do I go about getting this new 480p dashboard update?  Do I have to log into Live?

Yea, you need to log on to XBL. But im sure Xbins will have it soon if it doesnt already.

I really do think the prog hack works best right now unless this new patch/dash from MS automatically switches between 480i and 480p depending on the connections/settings you have setup. I'd really hate to have to hit L Trigger, R Trigger, L Thumbstick, and R Thumbstick everytime I want to view my dash in 480p.  wink.gif

Here is the hex edit trick. for the MS Dashboard:
Search for:
C7 46 28 20 00 00 00

Replace with:
C7 46 28 40 00 00 00
for progressive only

Replace with:
C7 46 28 00 00 00 00
for auto selection

It should work with tHc, but I havnt tested it with Lite.

Yes, it does auto-detect what's plugged in after you set it up for prog scan.

i presume that because it updates xboxdash.xbe(differnet size after live update), dvd playback is in progressive?
