are you using a component or hdtv pack cable?
if so, switch the regular a/v cable and you should get your mod chip bios screen now.

the chip when working should bring up its won OS screen for you to be able to flash a hacked bios so it looks like the install is not quite right somehow.

To: the avitus and beergutt, applies to tujz also

This only applies to the v1.0 and v1.1 motherboards. You all may have a "coma" XBOX, everything seems OK, power light stays on but no audio/video. This is caused by the TSOP being half forked. The last one I worked on a modchip didn't work on it either. You'll have to take it apart and solder a couple small spots on the bottom of the board to see if this is really the case, instructions can be found here http://www.llamma.co...ComaConsole.htm

If you're no good with the soldering iron, have someone who is do it, those spots are a lot smaller than they look and you don't want to short out anything under there by mistake.
