X2.3 Lite No Video Signal Anymore
« on: April 15, 2004, 03:32:00 PM »

****
Sorry I now figure my post from the modchip section should have been in here instead. keep in mind I have no clue what settings where changed since I didn't have the XBOX at the present time of the stopping of working of my precious XBOX.
****

Lent the BOX to a friend and it stopped working at his house after a couple minutes or more of usage.

Have no clue what happened only that the video doesn't work anymore, no signal whatsoever and that's speaking of the BIOS boot up video with the green glowy thing with XBOX appearing after.

Disabled, Enabled, Protected, Unprotected, Bank 1, Bank 2. Nothing works anymore. Took off modchip from LPT port only and turned on XBOX, still same deal.

I know how to properly flash my XBOX but this one has me puzzled beyond my research knowledge.

Somebody must know the answer, hopefully an engineer.

::My assumptions::

Can it be different cable plugs? same Canadian-bought XBOX but mines earlier than his but cable shouldn't matter at all.

He FTPed over to my 160 GB some movies for viewing perpouses on a small LCD screen for his car. Can it be that?

I found a small piece of gravel in my XBOX but I honestly doubt it did that much damage...

Go ahead everyone and plz give me a solution even if I have to buy that X2cable for direct flashing without CDs.
Using X2 4980 BIOS on modchip, well.... was using it.
I try to flash in cromwell but the flash loading bars of color don't even appear. it just spinds i nthe drive and no bars appear.

!!FOLLOW-UP!!

Tried the Enigmah video switch ISO burned with NERO but I have no clue how to work it.

I must have done something right or totally wrong, since now it boots up 3 times and halts on the third boot, it automatically restarts for first two times. It also flashes (redish orange) and green on a halt.

I tried pushing B on my controller but how can I tell what I'm doing??
