I have an NTSC XBox in Scotland (I replaced the PSU with a switchable one), using an advanced SCART cable for video.
I have an XBox in FL also, using the M$ HDTV video cable (component, S/PDIF etc), that does have the HDTV dashbard menu.

Could it be the cable I'm using telling the XBox to not display the menu, or the PSU?
The XBox is definately still set to NTSC as the PAL games here won't work (will have my smartXX soon though).
Could someone please enlighten me
