Hello all,  Firstly thanks for a great forum and site......I cannot pretend to be anything other than a lurker but tbh I can read and apply the knowledge and so far most/all of my questions have been answered in tutorials, hence I havent got a huge post count.

Please can anyone help....perhaps you have had a similar problem?

Both my DivX and XVid video files are freezing during play for no apparent reason.

I have tried in both Meida player and Media Center but they still freeze.  Its not in the same spot either,  I am stumped,  please can any of you help.

can i ask which media centre build you are using?  I have T3CH 2008-04-06 build and getting same problem - but mine will freeze for about 1-2 seconds at random intervals - sometimes 5 mins apart, sometimes 40mins apart.
