QUOTE (Playingwithit @ Feb 26 2004, 02:38 PM)
Ok i have had my Xbox 2 whole weeks i chipped it with the xecuter 2.3b lite and installed evo x, now is it possible to switch the macrovision off on the xbox so i can use my xbox has a dvd player and plug it into my dvd recorder, i have some dvd`s from Hongkong which i would love to have a back up copy of etc.

Why not use your computer???  I'd have to believe you'd preserve the quality moreso than recording and re-encoding the AV output.

Agreed, there are far more applications on the computer that can backup a DVD with better quality and quickness.
