thats cool, no games that i own play in 1080i. but why in the world would they set it up like that? thats beyond me!!!

My .02 on this logic...

If you have 480p and 1080i on for example, and you put in a game that's capable of both, then it assumes you want the higher resolution.

I might be wrong, but it makes sense to me...it'd be nice if it asked, say at the beginning of the game, which res you want.
