Solid Green Led, No Audio/video!
« on: February 19, 2004, 06:23:00 PM »

I bought a "broken" xbox off eBay, It turns on, but there is no audio or video no matter what cable I use (tried standard and s-video, both MS brand).  I read a description of the led errors in a tutorial on here... it says that if it has a solid green LED but there's no audio or video, but it still ejects, it's probably an audio problem... I opened it up and there are no signs that anyone ever tried to mod it (chip or tsop or otherwise) Is there any way I could fix this? If it IS an audio problem, what now?  What could have caused this?  Any response is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Jigsaw,
Do look through the Technical/Troubleshooting forum.  There are several threads about this problem there.  When I recieved an Xbox in this state I fixed it by installing a mod chip.
