Arsenal - Club Football... Pal To Ntsc

Hi i just bought Club Football which is a PAL game from UK off ebay.. anyways..
i used the Enigmah video mode switcher as wells as the evox region changer and both will launch game and plays fine.. BUT will only play in Black and white (no color)!
i dont have any other PAL games to test but are all PAL games played on NTSC systems playback in black & white? or is it just this title??

also is there any fix for this?  its a retail disc i'm using..

If you change the video mode of your xbox to outpu pal on a ntsc tv, it's normal that you have black and white video (best case) or no video at all (worst case). Put your xbox back in ntsc and load the game if you can't see it it means that it's not compatible with ntsc (most pal games runs fines on ntsc console and vice versa without changing video mode).

so i guess when PAL systems try to run a NTSC game they also get black & white? hehe, thats pretty fuked up.

I have a pal xbox, have it in NTSC for transcoder and NTSC games run fine on it with full colour....
so i think it probably depends on output type?? e.g im using NTSC with component cables into VD z3 then monitor...
maybe im wrong tho...

Hi SheepShank> ya i seen those convertors at LIK-SANG and other shops, but its only a NTSC to PAL , they dont have any PAL to NTSC

That device from lik sang wont solve your problem, the Problem is your television! NTSC Television are 60hz Pal is 50hz, That device wont Convert 60-50hz That device only changes the color signal and not the Video, so you will still have problems. Get a Tv that does 50 and 60hz and you will be all set to play your games Pal or NTSC! Playing Pal games on an NTSC television is not really an ideal gaming experience for the games that do work on NTSC televisions you will find that some are way out of sync and the audio and video are not Muxed for NTSC standards. The framerate "lag" is very noticable too sometimes maybe just a step or two! You might not notice but if you played the same game NTSC then you would see a huge difference in framerate alone!
