I don't know what you are asking exactly but there is a review of HDTV compatible component cables pinned at the top of the forum. Each offering allows connection of an optical cable for Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.

If this doesn't help, please clarify. Maybe tell us what kind of television you have (HDTV, standard NTSC, PAL).
