What kind of TV do you have? a 4:3 or 16:9? If you have a widescreen TV and don't like the streteched images, then change the aspect ratio through your tv settings from "wide" to "normal 4:3"
Also make sure your XBOX video settings are set right in your MS Dash in between widescreen and 4:3.
