I'm assuming you fixed your video issue however if you haven't simply download the "Enigmah Video selector" and burn the ISO to CDRW in the proper XBOX Format.  Boot up the Xbox with the CD, wait about 1 min (FYI - nothing will apear on the screen, so don't panick).  Hit "B" for NTSC-M or "A" for PAL.  Power off the xbox, then when you turn it back on your video will be restored!
