I also have this problem with a 65" HD-WS Sony.  I changed the EvoX skin to make it better, but with the Media Players, I've had no luck.  Try playing with the video settings in the config file for the players.  Try chaging the resolution (480p, 720p, 1080i), it seemed to help a little for me, but its still not perfect.

Find your make and model, then check the forum for that manufacturer here http://www.hometheat...hreads.php?Cat=
Many have accessible service menus where the overscan can be adjusted....tis what i did with my Samsung HDTV...be warned though, it's not always an easy task, but is well worth it.

thanks for the link fOZf8, I was able to fix the overscan. I have a Samsung HDTV too.. its just like a monitor when you get to the settings.
A bit off topic, does your Samsung have those touch pad buttons?

You can solve this problem by adjusting the screen limits in XBMP... Can't remember which setting under the setup menu.
