Note that although I have spent a lot of time with an oscilloscope and multimeter to obtain this pinout, I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy

L33, I'll vouch your AVIP pinout is pretty accurate, based on my own multimeter readouts and finding the grounds on the same pins as you, and based on an observation by "bunnie"...2 pins have longer leads in the connector (pins 1 and 24) for hot connection (power before data)...

Ok fellas, let see them pictures of your vga setup and solder jobs!

on another note...  just a little recommendation in your schematic, could you label each picture to tell what is up or down and upright or on its back. That really didn't make any sense, but I don't know how to explain it.

For example, your IC.. from your pinout, is that the pinout from the datasheet (i.e. pin #1 is where the circle is.), and the same for vga connector. I am going to be using a female end from a vga extension cable. Does the same pinout from your male connector still apply in my case or do I reverse it?

ive just screwed my tsop by flashing the vga bios.
i downloaded the PiXEL8_BetaVGADebug1.03.bin bios.

then used the 'copy /b file.bin+file.bin bios.bin' to make it 1mb, flashed it and now my box frags.

is there anything i should know about this bios that's not stated anyware?

Just one other question, Since I've ordered the X2VGA do I still need the VGA bios?

Also does everyone recommend using Pixel8 vga bios?

Cheers

You don't need a vga bios when using x2vga.

Isn't the TSOP only 256KB on v1.1+?
