X2vga H V Sync Or Composite Sync?
« on: January 20, 2004, 08:18:00 AM »

I may be wrong, but it's probably because the sync signals are combined instead of separate, as in the case of the H and V signals.

X2vga H V Sync Or Composite Sync?

That's like asking why a linedoubler gives a "smoother", blurry, shittier picture compared to a transcoder having a sharp, clean, jaggy picture.  The smoother picture you get in h&v sync is also more blurry, while the picture you get in composite is sharper and much better.  Your monitor obviously syncs better on composite.  Trinitron monitors sync better with compsite and sync on green, then h&v sync.
