Getting Evolution X To Work With Hdtv Cables

I recently bought the HDTV video cables and every time my evolution x dash loads i get an unusable signal... are there any *.ini files i need to tweak so it will support a better resolution

EvoX doesn't support anything other than 480i if I remember correctly. I think the hexing trick that's in the pinned post might help get EvoX to display in 480p...

Any recent version of Evox will output in 480p if you have the video setting enabled in the MS dash.  The MS dash is always 480i unless you hex edit it (sticky at top).  I'm thinking your component input on your tv only accepts 480p and either 720p/1080i.  If you can't see your MS dash you can confirm this.  There are several workarounds including hex editing the dash - someone at avsforum.com Gaming Forum figured out a way to use a switcher.
