Accidentally Switched To Ntsc-j

It wouldn't boot with the Enigma disc or you didn't see the screen still?

When you load the Enigma disc it doesn't "display all", it still shows as the last setting.  See if the box itself is booting with the disc, no flashing circle of death.  If it is booting, search for the button layout for the program, that has to be done blind...
Been there done that...
The box should boot with your original dash if the disc is bad, so I can't figure out why its not booting without more info.

I have exactly the same problem. Switched to NTSC-J mode with xbmc and know it doesnt boot with chip on. Keeps on searching and looks like it resets itself again and again.

I have an xboxv1.5 and alladin64 and it worked very fine until yesterday.

Did you try anything other yet?

I had this exact problem too.
What happens is your EEprom got changed

the best way to fix it is to get the Enigmah Video Switch disc in your drive then turn on the Xbox
wait about 20 seconds then jam the B button a few times
once you do that shut off the Xbox.
Bam works like a charm again.

note to self, do not change video on Xmc again.....

Another thing worth remembering is when the xbox looks like it is rebooting over and over.

Take the AV cable out and re-start the xbox it will now boot blind but will not reboot constantly, allowing you to get an ftp connection and fix it that way.

cheers !

crapped my self when this happened to me... but thanx to this forum and a few hours I got my xbox fixed.
