hey everyone, this is sort of a mix between two forums so feel free to move it if you want... anyways, im getting 5.1 speakers for xbox, but i cant get back to the original MS dashboard to change the audio options. I have evox. is it as simple as renaming my xboxdash.xbe to evoxdash.xbe? If not can someone give me some idea on what to do. Cheers.

i have an executer 2 lite

apparantly it differs a lot depending on what you are running... but mine was just a simple mistake in the evox.ini where i had pointed the menu at the wrong file.
eg.
under the misc. bit in evox i had xboxdash.xbe (which is my evox xbe) instead of msxboxdash.xbe which is the original MS dashboard.

your files may not be called the same things, indeed, you may not even have the same problem. but good luck and feel free to PM if you want any more detailed explaination.
