Hd Modes For Games

I notice a hex edit for the Xbox Dash that runs it in 480p rather than 480i, which im using right now.

This brings up my questions, is it possible to hex edit other games, to force higher modes, say 720p and 1080i?

That would be pretty cool.

i see,

that sucks, i was hoping it would be something as simple as changing the resolution in a PC game, afterall, the data is there.
