You need to get a Advanced AV Cable pack for your Xbox - the lead has an optical out on it.

You will have to get a seperate reciever that supports 5.1 and hook it up to your speakers.

Unless you have Digital input on your PC...then you can use your PC as a reviecer

you can get a creative extigy for use as a stand alone dolby decoder, i also have the 640. the extigy is on sale for a hundred, a little pricey but well worth it.
