X2vga And 720p On My Lcd
« on: November 15, 2003, 09:04:00 AM »

When the picture disappears does it look like it's going into energy saver mode (i.e. power light on the front turn yellow, or a "no signal" message appears on the screen)?

Also, for the 2 seconds the picture is there does it look good, or messed up?

Lastly does your monitor have an info. screen you can make appear that outputs the current resolution and refresh rate.

It sounds like the refresh rate it is trying to use is incompatible with your monitor.

What VGA resolution does that device put out in 720p mode (since there isn't a VGA 720 resolution)?  My guess is that monitor doesn't support that mode with the refresh rate it's using.

They allow you to choose between separate H/V Sync mode and composite sync mode.

Also another one to select between vga/composite.
