i don't know about playig them during games, but you can put them in your F: folder. just make a folder called mp3 or music or something. you can play them in xbmp, but you have to point the location of the folder to xbmp in the exe files of xbmp in the c drive.

there's an XBOX soundtrack editor you can use on your PC that will FTP into your xbox and properly edit whatever files and store your wma's to it and such.  they gotta be wma's though, and I think you have to go in and title them yourself later on if you want them titled.

anyway, it's called XBOX Soundtrack Editor.. you can get it from the usual place (I guess... that's where I got my copy) under PC and whatever.

Also you can only use the soundtrack feature in games that support it.
