Hey all(or Mygoch),

If you need the "Enigmah Video Switcher"....just search google to find it. Then download winrar to expand it into it's original form of a "ISO". But you'll need Xiso (newest version 1.5 or something close to that version). So install Xiso and then use Xiso to find the ISO and click burn.
Then reboot the system with the disk inside....you'll probably not see anything, wait a few min...and all you have to do is hit "b" before giving a few minutes to make sure the program is runing. After hitting "B" on you controller. Turn it off..and turn back on....you should be alright. If your not sure if your now NTSC or PAL...just FTP into your box..and open the evoc.ini file....it contains a line saying "video is pal or ntsc". No you can't change it there...or anywhere so far....because when you changed the option...it wrote to the eeprom which stores the change. Try this a few times..you should be up and running in a few min.

First of all.....make sure your TV is on the right channel...(not trying to make it sound like your stupid or something...but being stressed with this situation....makes your NOT think of the obvious things).  Check your connections to the TV. Then check the connector to the xbox. Eliminate the possibilities that this problem is or isn't the xbox.
And finally check that your DVD can read CD-rw's. Some of the stock DVD players in the xbox's can't read Cd-rws....(i'm not sure which of the stock DVD's in the xboxs can read cd-rws...i know there was a distinction of which can read...cd-r's...but not sure about cd-rw's). Second, if your not sure about your burning process....see if you can burn to a few cd-rs instead of
cd-rws. That maybe your first prob. Sounds like you have the latest programs...so you should be OK...there. you can't check the CD you made in windows....Explorer won't see the cd after you burn it.
Also, make sure you give the cd atleast 10-15secs to load when turning the xbox on with the cd inside,....then hit your "B" button...then wait....10-15secs..then power off...wait a few secs.....then power on.(without the CD). You should be OK by now.
Now after you've done all this. Try your CD again. Like i said...a few tries it took me to get this but it worked.

this is the best i can tell you.

Oh, i've read something about LiveEdit?? and then FTP the settings into your xbox....(if you've setup your FTP before this happened).

cool.gif  I have the .iso program.  What is the deal with making it an XISO.  I tried this anyway with Craxtion 3.1 AND then another time with Xiso1.15 (I know, everyone this that program sucks, but Craxtion didn't seem to do the trick. )  Is there something specific I should be looking for to know I did this step correctly.  XISO was much clearer in that it created a whole new file whereas Craxtion didn't seem to do so.  Maybe I am doing something wrong there?

3) When burning the .iso to the disk in NERO, what are the proper settings I should use?  I've done it before, but I haven't needed to burn anything in a good 6 months+ (Due to the 100gig harddrive replacement)  and I just don't remember.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Oops
4, C or whatever (since it looks like my lettering was off :-) )
- Do I need to set the evox.ini file to automatically load "games", "DVD" etc.?  Since when the dashboard comes up, I don't think I currently have it set to load anything automatically since I have always done it manually through EvolutionX.

Oh yeah, I am also able to FTP to the box.  I do have backup copies of everything, but it doesn't look like any of the backups helped, so my guess is that something got changed in the hardbios since even turning off the chip results in the same.

I do have a backup of the EPROM that was made by Config Magic, but I'm not messing around with that cause I don't know enough about it & don't even know it that would help or not.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the help, the "Fluffer" file did the trick.  I've got my picture back.  Now I need to figure out why when I launch games from the HD, why it just takes me back to the dashboard.

It was working fine  before this incident, not sure what the problem is now.  Any ideas, or did anyone else encounter this after restoring the picture?

Thanks again.
