First of all.....make sure your TV is on the right channel...(not trying to make it sound like your stupid or something...but being stressed with this situation....makes your NOT think of the obvious things). Check your connections to the TV. Then check the connector to the xbox. Eliminate the possibilities that this problem is or isn't the xbox.
And finally check that your DVD can read CD-rw's. Some of the stock DVD players in the xbox's can't read Cd-rws....(i'm not sure which of the stock DVD's in the xboxs can read cd-rws...i know there was a distinction of which can read...cd-r's...but not sure about cd-rw's). Second, if your not sure about your burning process....see if you can burn to a few cd-rs instead of
cd-rws. That maybe your first prob. Sounds like you have the latest programs...so you should be OK...there. you can't check the CD you made in windows....Explorer won't see the cd after you burn it.
Also, make sure you give the cd atleast 10-15secs to load when turning the xbox on with the cd inside,....then hit your "B" button...then wait....10-15secs..then power off...wait a few secs.....then power on.(without the CD). You should be OK by now.
Now after you've done all this. Try your CD again. Like i said...a few tries it took me to get this but it worked.
this is the best i can tell you.
Oh, i've read something about LiveEdit?? and then FTP the settings into your xbox....(if you've setup your FTP before this happened).
