Xboxdash_ffp.xbe

I have a XBOX V1.0 with a 250 gig HDD and an EVOX M8 TSOP flash. I have XBMC 2.0.1 FAT installed and had my original MSDash as well. I have had this setup for some time now and all the sudden my MSdash gave me a green box with some words in it then reset my machine before I could even read it. My XBOX starts in XBMC which works fine but when I try to start my MSdash it resets and starts back at XBMC. I FTPd the original dash back to the XBOX and tried again but with the same results. I then noticed that every time I tried to load an original XBOX .xbe file that it would make a copy of that file and add _ffp to the end of the file name so xboxdash.xbe would create xboxdash_ffp.xbe and same with the update.xbe and xonlinedash.xbe I have tried several different dashes and always get the same results. Any Ideas on what is going on?

those *_ffp.xbe files are created by XBMC. It's because applies a flicker filter patch onto the xbe's on loading.

You can try disabling under Settings (system blade if you're using the mc360 skin) -> Progams.

But still that shouldn't actualy cause any problems. I have no real idea why xboxdash.xbe wont boot anymore, but on another note: why do you need it? It has pretty much no use anymore cause of the alternative dashboards.
