I have recently switched to using XBMC as my dashboard. It's very clean and has all the features I need.
I have also upgraded to a 250Gig HD. While transfering all my games and movies to the harddrive, i've noticed a recurring issue.
Ocassionally when transferring games or movies from DVD or FTP, the copying will seem to stop on random files. Sometimes the files can be copied individually and some just wont copy at all, unless I transfer them to my PC and then to the Xbox first. So now I am pretty much complete with transferring all my files (after 4 days of Xbox-PC-Xbox)
I am currently trying to transfer the same files from one Xbox to another via crossover cable. I'm able to make the connection but once again am having the same issue (the copying will stop at, what seems to be, a certain set size of data or at individual files). Since I don't have the luxury of time or an equal amount of space on my PC, I would like to find a solution to this problem.
Has anyone else had the same issues, and if so, do you know of a fix?
My ideal solution would to use just the two xbox's networked together without major use of a PC and one application to do all the work (preferrablly just XBMC or another single app).
