Very Strange Xbmc Problem
« on: June 24, 2006, 04:55:00 PM »

I am running a v1.0 box with xecuter 3.  I have a 400 GB Seagate HDD and XBMC is my main dash.

My problem is... XBMC seems to randomly delete some of the video files i have on it.  When I was browsing thru my media library i noticed a couple seasons of a few of my tv shows were missing, some of the shows had all seasons removed.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this before?  I am getting fairly tired of re-uploading several GBs of video every couple days.

Someone please help me.

Thanks.

Any partition over 250gb needs to be formatted with 32k clusters. Most harddrive preparing programs use 16k to format, however if you fill that partition up with more than 250gb than things start to get corrupted and deleted.

Backup what you can from your large partition and format it with 32k clusters using XBPartitioner.
