Ive done that. I followed the tutorial on how to burn everything correctly. And I get a error14 when It tries to read the disk. I even got CD-RW and I have a good drive too. (I forgot which one it was, but I remember compareing to a picture and saw that I indeed did have the best one.
Oh, I also nolonger have FTP access.....

Just get a solderless modchip and use Slayer's or Auto Installer Deluxe 2.1 to fix your xbox.
Both Slayer's and AID 2.1 have the latest version of the m$ dash on it.
Everyone who has a softmoded box should own a solderless modchip to fix the xbox when they go screwing around with the files (and "accidentally" delete crap).

I deleted my MS dashboard when I tried to load Halo 2 to the HDD, and I deleted my Xbox Live information, and my Map Pack. Can somebody E-mail me the files that I need to burn onto a disk because I can't register in Slayer for some reason. Is it OK if I use a CD-R, does it normally work, or should I use a CD-RW? Please, I am in desperite need of those files, all help is greatly appreciated. (IMG:

Easy
Connect xbox to internet
Insert a newer game that has live eg. Halo 2
go to live
It will put the Ms dash back on you xbox.
Now that was easy
